Artwork inspired by the Jagalchi Market located in the port city of Busan, South Korea, my original hometown. The majority of vendors in Korean markets are “Ajummas” (middle-aged or married woman in Korean). They can be seen all over the markets of Korea sporting their signature perms and neon windbreakers. The market is filled with fresh fish, squid, octopus, and other seafood of all kinds.
